“Dumb and Dumber.”

Ouch. An excerpt from comments made this week to Bloomberg and CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” from the colorful CEO of T-Mobile John Legere regarding AT&T and Verizon. The top-dog at the wireless provider may have been on a high from recent financial results which beat analyst’s estimates; adding 2.2 million customers during the first quarter of the year with $479 million in profit. Legere is betting on attracting millennials through interesting promotions and is especially critical of Verizon for trying to attract the same customer segment with video content provided through acquisitions like AOL and its courting of Yahoo. VZ was quick to respond through a spokeswoman who simply said: “In 2015, Verizon spent $11.7 billion on wireless network improvements – T-Mobile just $4.7 billion. They aren’t likely to catch up by spending less to support their customers.”
