Earlier this week, Frontier Communications announced that it has filed a voluntary Chapter 11 Petition to reduce its debt by over $10 billion “on an expedited basis.” A Frontier Board Member offered that “We do not expect to experience any interruption in providing services to our customers.”

Frustrated with Governor Wolf’s “essential vs. non-essential” business operating directive, House Republicans took a Senate-passed bill this week and added language requiring the state to develop a plan allowing certain businesses to re-open provided that they follow the directives of the Centers for Disease Control.
