With regard to regulatory modernization, on Wednesday, the Senate passed just such an initiative in the form of Phillips-Hill’s Senate Bill 1112 by a vote of 33-16. The legislation waives many outdated regulations and requires the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission to review its telco regulations every three years. (See article in Quotable Section).
