Get ready for another acronym. Yesterday the White House released a fact sheet announcing the “Action Plan for Accelerating Infrastructure Projects”, organized by the theme of “On Time, On Task and On Budget.” According to the public notice, one of the objectives is supporting a Dig Once effort among all of the organizations utilizing federal money to build broadband, transportation, water and other projects. The Department of Commerce will be tasked with coordinating the Dig Once project and supporting state broadband offices in this regard. Sounds like something we can all get behind.
