The much-maligned FCC broadband maps are undergoing a well-publicized upgrade and thus far, the Commission is doing a reasonable job. So says a report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) as highlighted in a MeriTalk article this week. Specifically, the GAO report says that the Commission “has taken reasonable steps to implement the 2020 law (Broadband Deployment Accuracy and Technological Availability Act). Stay tuned.
