More good broadband-related news this week out of Greene County as the latest in a series of broadband deployment projects was announced by county commissioners and Kinetic by Windstream. Funding from the CNX Foundation is supporting the project which will bring high-speed Internet to 103 customers. The initiative follows Kinetic’s CARES Act project and an Appalachian Regional Commission project (With a Kinetic match), which will bring broadband service to more than 9,000 Greene County residents.
