Big news out of Beaver County this week as Kinetic by Windstream announced the completion of its ultrafast fiber internet network which will serve 250 customer locations in the county. During a ribbon cutting at the county courthouse, company officials noted that more than 1,220 homes businesses and schools in the county now have fiber access thanks to a mixture of public and private investment and partnerships between the company and state and local governments and their representatives. State Representative Jim Marshall was among those attending the ceremony and offered that he applauded the “collaboration between Beaver County and Kinetic for their long-term partnership on this broadband enhancement.”
