In the wake of CEOs abandoning the President’s Manufacturing Council due to his response to the Charlottesville nightmare, the President’s Advisory Council on Infrastructure has also been disbanded. By a recently signed executive order, the council was tasked with making recommendations on federal support for projects in many areas including broadband. The group was set to sunset at the end of next year.
