At its public meeting yesterday, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission voted unanimously on a staff recommendation and subsequently issued an Order in the matter regarding the petition seeking interconnection between several PTA member companies and NG911 provider NextGen/Comtech. The order ships the proceeding back to the administrative law judges with a requirement that a Recommended Decision addressing terms and conditions of interconnection (including compensation) be issued by August 30, 2024.
