On Tuesday, Lumen announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its ILEC business in twenty states (including Pennsylvania) to funds managed by Apollo Global Management for $7.5 billion. Lumen will retain its ILEC assets in 16 states in a deal expected to close in the second half of 2022.
