The Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority reached out this week with news of an upcoming program designed to help counties and municipalities achieve Broadband Ready Community status prior to federal funding coming into the state. Info on pre-registering for the program can be found here: Broadband Ready Community Pre-Registration. This from the PBDA website: “The PA Broadband Development Authority is developing the Broadband Ready Community Program (BBRC) for Pennsylvania municipalities. The BBRC will provide participating communities with limited technical assistance and a “Broadband Ready Community” designation that will allow municipalities to showcase their willingness to work with public and private entities. By completing this preregistration, you will be the first to know when the full program launches in March 2024”.
