Plenty of big numbers in the recent filing of the Fiber Broadband Association to the FCC as the Commission prepares its 19th report on broadband (Section 706 Report). The top line number from the FBA is 84.6 million homes passed by fiber as of the end of last year, an annual growth rate of 11 percent. Other notable numbers are 39.3 million connected homes, and 13.8 million homes with multiple fiber providers, a growth rate of 16 percent.
