The National Telecommunications and Information Administration announced this week that 18 states have been approved for BEAD funding. As part of the agency’s ongoing advocacy for the “Benefit of the Bargain” guidelines, the announcement proclaimed that the 18 approvals will save $6 billion over the original submissions. Pennsylvania was not among the 18, but expectations are that we’ll be hearing soon.
