New York is the least secure state in the nation. At least according to new research from Secure Data Recovery which just released the results of a survey charting the digital habits of consumers. The report (which utilized a variety of factors including the propensity to click on suspicious ads online) gave the Empire State residents the lowest mark, followed by Nebraska, Oregon, Minnesota, and West Virginia. (Pennsylvania, unfortunately made the top ten, coming in at the ninth least secure). On the other end of the spectrum was Kentucky, followed by Louisiana, New Jersey, Maryland, and Tennessee.
