Governor Tom Wolf led off the week with a major announcement regarding broadband deployment in rural Pennsylvania. The press event announced the formulation of the Pennsylvania Office of Broadband Initiatives, the Broadband Investment Incentive Program, and a longer-term effort to reach rural PA with broadband which will require assistance from the private sector, the FCC and the General Assembly.
