The PA PUC’s most recent effort at modernizing the telco portions of the Public Utility Code has been sent to the Independent Regulatory Review Commission (IRRC) and the latter body will meet and act upon it on May 19, 2022. The final-form reg emanates from Docket No. L-2018-3001391 on which the PTA and numerous other parties have commented extensively. Comments to beat the “black out” period are due to the PUC by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, with copies to IRRC.
