If you have something to say regarding the way federal agencies are spending your tax dollars on broadband projects sharpen your pencil. Earlier this week the FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau issued a Public Notice seeking comments on the way on which the Commission, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the National Telecommunications Information Administration coordinate the distribution of federal funds for broadband deployment as required by the 2020 BB Interagency Coordination Act. In the mix are the FCC’s USF High Cost Fund, the USDA’s RUS programs and, of course, the IIJA BEAD program. Comments are due August 1 with reply comments due by August 16th.
