Legislation addressing double utility poles unanimously passed the House on Tuesday and is on its way to the Senate for consideration. House Bill 1619 requires the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission to start a rulemaking on the matter addressing the rights and responsibilities of attaching parties and pole owners.
