It’s crunch time. The PA PUC sent out a reminder on Monday (including the excerpt above) that mandatory ten-digit dialing in the 814 area code begins on Saturday April 3, 2021. The new dialing requirement is part of the transition to the 582 area code overlay which will commence when numbers in the 814 code are exhausted.
