Excerpt from a news release which accompanied the visit of PUC Chairman Gladys Brown to Thaddeus Stevens College in Lancaster yesterday highlighting the importance of education with regard to tomorrow’s utility workers.


Industry News – 2-9-18

PTA Associate Member Vantage Point Solutions announced this week that it has eclipsed $1.4 billion in grant and loan funding for broadband secured on behalf of its clients nationwide.  


Congress – 2-2-18

Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey was among sixteen Senate Democrats who penned President Trump this week calling for him to include rural broadband funding in his $1.5 trillion infrastructure proposal. The letter cites the FCC’s 2016 Broadband Progress Report which concluded that 39 percent of rural Americans lack access to high-speed Broadband.
