At its Public Meeting yesterday, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission voted 2-1 (Chairman Brown Dutrielle dissenting) in support of the Motion of Vice Chairman Coleman addressing the modernization of ILEC regulations at Chapters 63 and 64. (See related story in Quotable Section).


Congress – 10/22/21

Pennsylvania is losing long-serving Democratic Congressman Mike Doyle who announced this week that he will not seek re-election in 2022. Doyle who, as Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, has served in an integral role in shaping telecommunications public policy over the past several years.


Legislature – 10-15-21

The House Consumer Affairs Committee has rescheduled its hearing on rural broadband from October 7th and the new date is November 10, 2021 in the state capital. Stay tuned for the agenda.
