Mushrooms, milkshakes, baked potatoes and….broadband? The PTA will be represented on a panel addressing rural broadband availability at next week’s Pennsylvania Farm Show in an event organized by the PA State Grange. Scheduled for next Tuesday, January 11th from 9:30-11:30, the panel discussion will focus on the necessary steps crucial for bridging the “digital divide” and will feature appearances by Mark Critz (Executive Director – PA Rural Development Council), Bev Gruber (PA Campgrounds Association), Betsy Huber (President – National Grange), Regina Matz (PUC Commissioner Sweet’s office), and PA Representative Kristin Phillips-Hill (R – York County).
